Tom Trago – Iris

Tom Trago’s new album called Iris (out on Rush Hour) has been on heavy rotation at the Onda Sonora HQ for a couple of weeks now. Although we liked his first album, this one keeps our attention far longer. Overall more consistent and it’s got more bangers on it. We’ve played the tracks with Romanthony and Tyree Cooper in nearly every set lately. With people coming up to us and asking about them every single time.

As big Romanthony fans we can only applaud the fact he took the man back to the rawness of his Black Male / Azuli days. But it’s not the only gem on the album. Check it for yourself on VPRO’s luisterpaal.
