When we heard the sad news that Boyd Jarvis lost his battle with cancer it didn’t take long to decide we would dedicate our radio show to the man. His pioneering tracks that helped evolve disco into house music, during the eighties and beyond, are still strongly featured in our sets and his subsequent work with Bobby Konders, Timmy Regisford and Joe Claussell is the stuff we love going back to. In short, he is a very important part of our collection even though his name is rarely featured on the front of the cover hiding behind pseudonyms and taking the role of co-producers and leaving the spotlight to others.
